At the High Court in Glasgow Lady Scott sentenced Elizabeth Reid to life imprisonment with a punishment part of 13 years, after she was found guilty of the murder of John Whyte in Dundee on 1 May 2012.

At the High Court in Glasgow Lady Scott sentenced David Hay to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of the murder of Kenneth Dick in Fife on 11 February 2009. The punishment part was fixed at 16 years.

At the High Court in Glasgow Lady Wise imposed a life sentence on Stephen Nolan after he was found guilty of the murder of Ebrahim Aryaei Nekoo in Edinburgh on the 24 March 2012. The punishment part was fixed at 15 years.
