Inaugural Lecture

Delivered by the Chief Justice of Canada The Rt Hon Beverley McLachlin.

The Judicial Studies Committee Inaugural Lecture was delivered on Thursday 7th June in Parliament Hall by The Chief Justice of Canada, The Rt Hon Beverley McLachlin. The lecture, entitled "Judging: The Challenges of Diversity", was attended by 180 guests from all branches of the legal profession and those affiliated with the work of the Judicial Studies Committee.

The lecture marks the continued partnership of the Judicial Studies Committee with their Canadian counterparts, The National Judicial Institute, of which the Chief Justice is the Chair of the Board of Governors.
